Deja vu? Anyway, I agree with you: This is Lewis describing something absolutely true using fictional characters. Almost prophetic, if it weren't true through the generations. I guess they continue adding martyrs to this list, which is endless, I'm sure. When I first read it, I understood it was suggested that some stories were exaggerated. But no matter what they say, there is truth to these stories. After all, persecutions have been predicted and prophesied. When I tried scoring them, I kept thinking something was left. So I reverted to sorting. If I'm particularly moved, or pleased, or surprised by a book, I might label it as "to be reread". Then when I go back and do so, it might have lost its initial charm, or revealed another. So I end up with a list that I have reread and want to keep rereading. If I think back to it a lot, I might justify recommending it to a friend, which for me places it in the highest tier.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-341752236357006509.post-80570669655830579042023-12-23T17:03:41.025-05:002023-12-23T17:03:41.025-05:00Thanks for hosting again Tarissa.
