When they finish, they feel better. But to those without hope, like Homer, whose
anguish is basic and permanent, no good comes from crying.”
The Day of the Locust by Nathanael West

Hello, the title seems quite interesting, even though I wonder what it is about... Here's mine: Richard Morgan, Broken Angels - http://earthianhivemind.net/2015/07/21/teaser-tuesdays-2/
ReplyDeleteI just finished the book...and to be honest, I'm still not sure what it's about. Review to follow in the next day or two.
DeleteSo true.
ReplyDeleteDo you like books with dogs? Here’s my teaser from a mystery that I really enjoyed. Funny, fast moving and engaging: http://pdworkman.com/excerpt-from-dog-tags/
Nice teaser.
DeleteSad teaser, I hope you are enjoying the book. My teaser this week comes from the urban fantasy Magic Lost Trouble Found by Lisa Shearin. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy
DeleteThere is definite truth in that teaser. It made me think of the difference between a good cry and a bad ugly cry. The bad ugly cry is such a hopeless cry . . . It's hard to pull out of.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback Wendy.
