• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences
from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!
(make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to
ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author so
that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like
your teaser!
This is one of my all-time favorite books. I first read it a loooooong time ago and I still think about it.
ReplyDeleteI've never read anything by VS Naipaul and I think I should have. Your "Tease" has prompted me to add A Bend in the River to my waiting to be read list. Thankyou. My Tuesday Teaser is from a charming novella with a lovely Christmas setting.

DeleteSounds like a fascinating story - one that would stay with you long after you finished reading it.
ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday post features the Rawhide ‘n Roses anthology.
Thanks Sandra, I'll check it out.
DeleteTrue and sad at the same time. I hope you are enjoying the book. My teaser this week comes from Secret Sisters by Jayne Ann Krentz. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback Kathy. I'll check out your teaser.
DeleteI haven't read this one, but I have heard great things about it. I really like the teaser you shared. It's quite poignant. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI agree the teaser is rather compelling, but I'm actually not loving this so far. I'm only half way through, so it may win me over yet.
