No one
got last weeks quotation (answer below), which I kind of expected. So for this
week, I’ve chosen what I think should be pretty easy.
It isn’t
important, I know, but I hate it when somebody has cheap suitcases. It sounds
terrible to say it, but I can even get to hate somebody, just looking at them,
if they have cheap suitcases with them.
Name
the novel or the character (possibly the narrator), or extra credit for both.
First to get it right wins the privilege of being known as the first to get it
right.
Check
back next week for the answer (if no one gets it before then).
Last
weeks quotation:
Before
long the word got around that I was a listener to hard-luck stories, personal
histories, gripes, and that I gave advice, and by and by I had a daily clientele,
almost like a fortuneteller.
~ Augie March from The Adventures of Augie March
.
I don't know but I'm going to guess Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffanys. Just sounds like her to me.
