DeleteNice list--lots of different titles from other lists. Count of Monte Cristo is one I'm hoping to get to. I'm reading Les Mes right now using Serial Reader. I think I'll do Count on that app as well.

DeleteHaha I love that "the man" is one of your villains.Nurse Ratched is a pretty evil villain, I agree. Being in a power position over people and abusing it the way that she does for her own power and pleasure- that's a villain for sure. I like that all of your examples are from classics. Great reads!

ReplyDeleteAwesome list! Yes, they don't come much worse than Caligula--his reputation is well-deserved. I've always loathed Uriah Heep, with his hand-wringing, although Quilp from Old Curiosity Shop is pretty vile as well. Lots of Dickens villains out there actually. Glad to see you put Heathcliff in the right camp--amazing how people insist he is a Romantic hero!
