Welcome to The Once Lost Wanderer. The name is derived from two poems: Amazing Grace by reformed slave trader John Newton, and All That is Gold Does Not Glitter by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Graphic Novels

I’m not completely committed to this list. It started with a desire to read Watchmen, the only graphic novel, at the time, to win a Hugo Award. Depending on how that read goes, I may venture a bit farther down this list.

Watchmen     by  Alan Moore
Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth     by  Chris Ware
Asterix the Gaul     by  Rene Goscinny
The Arrival     by  Shaun Tan
Sandman     by  Neil Gaiman
Ballad of the Salt Sea     by  Hugo Pratt
Blake and Mortimer     by  Edgar P. Jcaobs
Gaston     by  André Franquin
Building Stories     by  Chris Ware
