(don't get me wrong, I love Clint, but Atticus? Just sayin)
9. No more James Joyce novels on my quest

7. I didn't/don't live in the house at 124 Bluestone Ct.
6. George Orwell's vision of the future did not come to be
5. No one has made a remake of Gone with the Wind
4. Anthony Burgess' vision of the future did not come to be

2. None of my children were like Holden Caulfield

  1. Hey, now wait a minute! The world has not ended, yet. There is still time for it to look like a mind-numb, emotionally-disconnected world without relationships, or a police state with Big Brother. It's starting to look and feel a lot like a combination of the two. But maybe I've been watching too much news.

  2. Enjoyed reading the list. Enjoyed TOLW's creativity. I am most grateful for #5. So far at least, it indicates intelligence on the part of movie makers.
